Wasn't exactly informational. I would just talk to camera owners of what type lens for what you are shooting then look on line at the Sony site. The descriptions of each lens that they sell are more useful than this was.

Awaiting delivery of my new lens - making trip to Africa next month and want to be able to get good photos on safari. Just learning to use camera - so far have been really impressed at what a rank beginner can do.
These tips allow budding photographers to pause and think first which lens will help them maximize their DSLR's full potential. After all, that is the most important factor to consider as soon as you jump in the DSLR bandwagon.
It helped out in what I was looking for. I was thinking of getting a Prim or wide lens and now I think I will stay with the 28-130 that it came with. For a little longer then go out and get a prim. Thanks.
i can see where this would help people with confusion over lenses. It was still vague on a few points
